GREETINGS CLASSMATES!

The 50th class reunion will be here shortly.  We invite other WPHS friends from recent class years to join us.  We are very excited about reuniting friends and former classmates.   We want to encourage all WPHS graduates from any class close to ours to participate in our event, starting with the following:

JULY 1ST  (Saturday) DEPARTURE 2:30 PM SHARP!!

 CHARTERED STEAM LOCOMOTIVE RIDE •   INCLUDED WITH YOUR RSVP On Saturday, July 1st, we will meet at

 Ely Renaissance Village, 400 Ely Street, Ely, Nevada, and the train departs for Robinson Canyon toward the Ruth Copper Mining District.  Enjoy a real OLD WESTERN TRAIN ROBBERY. *Cash bar is available.  The train will load passengers at the Ely Renaissance Village and bring us back to our reunion gathering, leaving everyone an hour to tour the Renaissance Houses or relax and enjoy a beverage…

JULY 1ST  (Saturday) 6 PM 

 DINNER, DRINKS & MUSIC Ely Renaissance Village, 400 Ely Street; Ely, Nevada.  

Kenny's Band will entertain with a diverse range of music and some new and old stuff.

JULY 2ND (Sunday) 

TOURING WHITE PINE HIGH SCHOOL A nostalgic trip down memory lane.  Some of our classmates have not been back since graduation—time to be announced.

JULY 3RD (Monday) 

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES   Optional activities may include all-terrain vehicle group rides with possible sites like Cave Lake, a Barbecue, etc. With enough interest, a barbecue could also be included.  Attendees would need to bring their beverage of choice for BBQ + plenty of water for the ride.   Extra all-terrain vehicles may become available through classmates' generosity for those without a ride.  EASTERN NEVADA ADVENTURES (Bruce Eldridge) has ATVs to rent.

JULY 4TH - (Tuesday) 

ANNUAL REUNION BREAKFAST 8 AM - 10 AM Annual Reunion Breakfast at the Bristlecone Convention Center -  Provided by the Chamber of Commerce. 

JULY 4TH (Tuesday) 

JULY 4TH PARADE & FLOAT information will come later.  We will gather at the float an hour before the parade.  July 4th parage with Class of 1973 members riding on the float.  Classmates will be building float tentatively on the evening of July 2nd & 3rd.  Mark Caylor to provide the truck/trailer.

We are still planning the events and updating you with any other activities we may offer.  The deadline for RSVP is April 1, 2023.  We need to get a head count for the food.
