Hello everyone, it will be good to see and visit with all of you in July. It is hard to wrap my head around the fact that we have been out of the halls of White Pine for 50 years.
I left for Reno that fall looking for a degree in veterinary science at UNR. I lost track of that somewhere along the line while making big money working part time in the trucking industry. In 1979 I married Vicki Milobar, a year later we welcomed our twins , Tommy and Justina, moved back to Ely and had our son Nicolai in 1983. I worked for local contractors, had my own roofing and siding business, several years at the mines, sold cars, yea right, and thought I had finished up as the head of maintenance at the Ely State Prison and it’s four honor camps. Was brought out of retirement to build a mine in the desert of Utah. More than ten years ago I ran into my soul mate, Cindy Havenstrite, and we have been enjoying the good life. My six grandchildren, our children, our families, our hobbies have kept us busier than you can imagine. Hope all is well with you and you plan on attending.
