Hi everyone, just letting you know a bit about my journey.
After graduating, I began my career at Kennecott in Mcgill and worked there for five years. During this time, I took a part-time job at Carney Brothers Auto, until I was laid off at KCC. After that, I transferred to KCC in Salt Lake and worked there for another five years before getting laid off again, and then I did some construction work for about a year.
After that, I returned to Ely and went back to Carney Brothers, only to move to Carson City and work for the Department of Prisons for a year. After that, I transferred to the Ely Conservation Camp and worked for the Nevada Division of Forestry until my retirement in 2010. Since then, I have been doing restoration work and woodworking.
I have worked on projects such as the Renaissance Village, and Ely Art Bank, and am currently working on the old Richfield Station at the west end of town. Currently, my two boys, Andy & Adam live in Ely. Andy has a landscaping business and Adam works for wheeler machinery.
