Right after I graduated in 1973, I attended Westminister College and then transferred to UNR. I got married and had two children, Richard and Krystle, both of whom live in Las Vegas with my eight grandkids.
I worked in the automotive business for 25 years until 1997 when my mother passed away and I decided to try something new. I opened XTREME ACCESSORIES on Great Basin Blvd. in Ely and ran the store for almost two decades - loving every minute of it and meeting some wonderful people.
My dad (Norm Linnell) who was known and loved by many passed away in 2014. Nowadays I am living in Montana with my husband Mike Hoggan, who's from McGill. Together, we raise sheep for breeding stock and sell rams. During the summer months, we also help out with harvesting. Mike drives the Tandem Grain truck while I'm at the wheel of the tractor/grain cart. It's quite the ride!
Living here and having involvement with ranchers and farmers has given me a perspective of where our food comes from and all the effort put into getting it to us.
Here in Montana, it really is beautiful although the winters can be a little chilly but keeping myself busy designing websites, managing multiple websites and social media accounts for Hutterite Colonies (similar to Amish, but embracing technology), livestock associations, guide services and electrical companies. But most of all I have had a blast creating the WPHS1973 Website
